Mr. Snively received his undergraduate
degree from University of Miami as a Psychology Major and his Law Degree from
Samford University School of Law in Alabama. He served an internship in legal
aid in the juvenile division in Birmingham in 1995 and graduated from Samford
Law School in 1995 with Merit Awards in legal writing and research. He has been
a member of the Florida Bar since 1995.
Mr. Snively has been a Guardian Ad Litem in Seminole County Florida and
has worked with other groups in Pasco County to help youth. Mr. Snively worked
in the Public Defender’s Office in Hillsborough County from 1996 to 1998 in
felony, juvenile, misdemeanor and domestic violence division cases. In 1999 he
opened his own law firm specializing in criminal defense, guardianships, family
cases and juvenile law. Currently he works in the Hillsborough County
courthouse, Pasco County Courthouse and Pinellas County Courthouse.
 In his free time, Mr. Snively enjoys , cycling, water sports, sailing, kayaking,
snorkeling and working on his jet ski.
